What am I looking at?

This is a proof-of-concept Book of Business Risk Explorer — a way for a carrier's leadership team to visually see where risk is concentrated across their entire book of property policies, without needing to read an actuarial report first.

Every dot on the map is one real policy (simulated data — 1,000 Northeast homeowners policies). You can:

• Filter the book down using the left sidebar (by state, property type, risk score, claims, safety features, or financials).
• Recolor the map by clicking any attribute's pill — see instantly where flood risk, claims, or premium dollars are concentrated.
• Blend two factors (right panel) to find the accumulations that matter most — e.g. high-value homes sitting in high-flood-risk zones.

Why this matters: a CEO doesn't need to know what "HazardHub flood score" means to understand "a third of our insured value sits within 5 miles of the coast." This tool turns a spreadsheet of 1,000 rows into a picture leadership can act on — where to tighten underwriting, where to buy more reinsurance, and where the next storm actually threatens the balance sheet.
